Dr Burt regularly travels to Cambodia with the Fred Hollows Foundation where he performs many much needed operations.
Dr Burt is passionate about improving the health outcomes of communities through empowering local doctors and surgeons. Following a morning of surgery, Dr Burt will conduct lectures and clinics for local surgeons to share his extensive training and expertise.
The Fred Hollows Foundation works throughout Africa, Asia (South and South East) and Australia, focusing on blindness prevention and Australian Indigenous health.
